Job Description

Our business area Product & Software Engineering is currently growing, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about electronics development and has experience in hardware design. We work in cross-functional development teams where continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.

In the role of Electronics Developer, you will design and develop high-quality electronics that meet our customers' needs. As a full-time employee at AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work either in our internal project delivery organization or directly with our clients. Our clients are in various industries – from MedTech (R&D), Telecom, aerospace, and machinery and equipment manufacturing to defense, automotive, and consumer products.

At AFRY, you will be part of a global network with over 700 embedded consultants, while also having close contact with your manager and colleagues at our office in Västerås.

As a consultant at AFRY, you will work either in our own projects or on-site with clients. To thrive in this role, you need to be a team player who is communicative and enjoys collaboration. We also value curiosity, a willingness to take on new challenges, and the ability to combine your technical skills with problem-solving in an environment.

Qualifications

Requirements for the role:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field

• At least 5 years of experience in hardware design

• Analog design

• Digital design

• PCB CAD

Meritorious:

• MATLAB/Simulink

• FPGA/VHDL

• Interest in practical lab work with equipment
